I want the energy of this person to be so infectious that it sets the pace for everyone working under or beside this person. The shop floor manager needs to arrive before their workers to ensure all operations are staged and ready for the work day as well as here at night prepping for the next day. This role is not a 9-5 job. We are wanting whoever we hire to take pride in the business like it is their own. That being said, we expect over time with training and growth, others will be promoted to managerial positions as well so that it will not be such a time-consuming position. We want to be able to trust that whoever we hire for the production manager position will attain the attributes it takes to be able to train whoever they see fit with the potential to help run the shop floor.

Eilers Machine averages 30 employees at any given time and the Shop Floor Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of every operation including but not limited to office personnel, scheduling, engineering, production employees, quality, shipping and receiving as well as checking in with all other managers in the plant. Every step in the process of a job shop like Eilers Machine flows together so it is important that the production manager is involved a little in every step of the process.
